I thought I'd get an in depth interview with a video gamer, to see why he plays video hames and how they affect him.

Interview questions

1. How often do you play video games?
2. What's your favourite video game?
3. What is the most violent thing you have seen in a video game?
4. Do you think video games are getting too realistic?
5. Do you think parents should be stricter with their children?
6. Whose responsibility is it when a parent complains that their child has played a violent video game - the game designer or the parent?
7. Have you ever been offended by a video game?

Radio Research

In Store Radio Stations

For in store radio stations I looked at Headland Media. Headland Media is a company that provides stores with in store radio station like Carpet Right, Asda FM live, Topps Tiles e.g. I looked at Asda FM in detail Asda FM plays music that suited to Asda target audience which family that go to shops they also play lots of adverts advertising products in store for example Warburtons bread.

Internet Radio Stations

After looking at in store radio stations I looked at Internet radio station so I decided to look at Last FM. Last FM is a UK-based Internet Radio and music community website, founded in 2002. It claims over 30 million active users based in more than 200 countries. Last FM lets users choose what music they want to listen to by lets add their favorite bands/artists to their library making there own personal radio station. Last FM is now available for Xbox Live for Gold members.

Commercial and BBC Radio Stations

Commercial and BBC radio stations are very different when compared. One of the major difference is how there paid for Commercial Radios get there money from advertisers advertising on there Radio station while BBC Radio Station get there money from people paying the license fee so BBC Radio Stations have no adverts on there Radio Station.
